Doing advanced statistical analysis is a highly specialized skill, and usually requires years of experience and training in both selecting appropriate data to analyse, and interpreting the results of that analysis. ProcessInsight provides an easy to use graphical interface which embeds the user’s actual plant Process Flow Data Model, and allows them to select target variables for analysis using simple point and click pop-up selections.

Once a target dependent measurement is selected, the user can then select the independent variables they want to examine for pattern discovery analysis.

These variables can be upstream, downstream or in another process train, and the Process Flow Data Model (configured for your process environment) then puts them in appropriate context for analysis. The results show the behavioural rules that the independent variables exhibit with regard to the chosen target dependent variable, including the statistical significance of those rules.
