Founded by world-renowned data analysis experts Dr. Andrew Wong and Dr. Yang Wang in 1997, Pattern Discovery Technologies (PDT) is a pioneer in the field of advanced data mining and predictive analytics. Through Dr. Yang, Dr. Wong and the rest of our talented research team, we maintain strong ties with the University of Waterloo's Pattern Analysis & Machine Intelligence (PAMI) laboratory.
PDT's Production Intelligence Framework delivers advanced predictive models that reveal insight rooted deeply in both real-time and off-line operational data. Driven by the company's patented analysis engine Discover*e, the framework allows process experts to quickly and easily perform sophisticated data analysis routines. The resulting patterns provide valuable insight into the behaviour of complex processes and the associated interactions that govern plant performance.
To date, we have worked closely with Oil & Gas producers to enhance their operations' performance in both extraction and processing circuits. We are also actively expanding our business into new industries, including mineral & metal production, power generation, and biofuel & food production.
